Islamabad: After allegations about rigging in Karachi, Secretary Election Commission Ishtiaq Ahmed Khan says its better not to hold election than rigging in Karachi.
So far Election Commission of Pakistan hasĀ receivedĀ over 150 complaints from four constituencies of Karachi against a party.
Reviewing the situation in the biggest city of the country, Ishtiaq Khan was of the view that all facts would be made public.
“We have failed to hold independent and transparent elections in Karachi,” he further said in the meeting.
The meeting also reviewed possibility ofĀ re-holding polling in Karachi.
