LAHORE: PTI chairman Imran Khan is out of danger and will be shifted to the normal ward to recover completely.
This was stated by Dr. Faisal Sultan, chief doctor looking after the injured leader at Shaukat Khanum Hospital, here on Wednesday.
The medical professional furthered that Imran cannot as yet take part in any election campaign, adding that reports regarding his condition will be posted at 2pm (local time) everyday.
The doctor also hinted at conducting further scans and tests to ascertain the condition of the wounded PTI head.
Meanwhile, addressing a press conference PTI leader Shah Mehmood Qureshi said their election campaign will progress as usual. He also took PML-N to task, saying they will face complete defeat in the forthcoming elections.
It is to be mentioned here that Imran Khan sustained serious head injuries after falling from a lifter during an election rally in Lahore on Tuesday night. He was rushed to the hospital where doctors declared him out of danger.
The incident took place due to an apparent overloading of the lifter, something common in the political party that has yet to register itself as a disciplined, organized outfit.
