Apple’s Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) is always interesting with so many launches, both software like iOS and hardware like upgraded iPhones, during the mega event.
This year something unusual has happened relating to WWDC 2013 of Apple. Surrounding with rumours of so many mobile devices in line, Apple has sold all of its only in record 90 second.
Isn’t it amazing? But how did this happen?
This is a million dollar question. But the answer is simple and clear: a hype has been surrounding the conference with so many products in line including iPhone 5S, iPad 5, iPad Mini 2, iPhone 6, Budget iPhone, iWatch and not to forget iOS7, the linking chain for all the products.
Traditionally, WWDC is considered as a software event with a launching pad for one or two devices, particularly upgraded models of iPhone. We can expect iOS 7 during the global event, but the question is: will Apple launch a device at WWDC 2013?
Although, earlier rumours have bombarded web sphere with release of iPhone 5S and budget iPhone during the event. But suddenly the statement from Tim Cook, the Apple CEO, changed the whole scenario.
While giving hope to Apple fans about amazing products in future, Tim was of the view that ‘the great products’ would be available from this fall and in 2014. This means no product launching this summer.
But still this is an assumption and you couldn’t say anything with authenticity about device launch from Apple. It has an amazing product launch record.
But whatever the case is, rumours regarding iPhone 6, iPhone 5S, iPad Mini 2, iPad 5 and other products have helped Apple to sell all the tickets of this year’s WWDC only in 90 seconds. So Apple should think about launching any of these products during the event.
A Twitter user @akosma has given a 5-year selling record of WWDC tickets.
