OKARA: Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan has challenged Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif to debate before the election.
“Nawaz Shaif should face me in a debate if he cannot contest against me in cricket…but I know he is little timorous,” The News Tribe Urdu quoted Khan as addressing a public meeting in Okara district of Punjab province.
He said that he was facing Sharif brothers, Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif, alone. “PML-N is criticising me despite spending three years in the former government.”
Imran Khan said the man who termed himself as “Khadim-e-Aala” (biggest servant) spent millions of rupees on his family’s security. “They have put 1260 personnel on their security,” he told the crowd.
The PTI Chairman claimed his government would end the energy crisis within 30 months. “Kala Bagh dam will take eight years to be built…we will make a system to control the stealing of electricity.”
He said people would have power in his local government system.
Earlier, while talking to media, Khan said Musharraf was being treated under the law and the Constitution.
