ISLAMABAD: “Gen (retd) Pervez Musharraf is not happy with the provision of terrorism in his case.”
This was stated by the spokesperson of All Pakistan Muslim League (APML), Dr Ajmad while speaking to the media after the verdict in the case, here on Saturday (today).
Dr. Amjad also denied that the judges were kept in detention of six months and their families were barred from movement and daily activities.
He further said that no such complaint was received by any of judges’ families, meaning it didn’t happen like it is told.
The spokesman criticized lawyers’ activities in the premises of the court, saying they chanted slogans in an inappropriate way against the former president.
Dr. Amjad vowed that they would go use every right to free the former president of the charges.
It maybe mentioned here that lawyers protested presence of Gen. (retd) Musharraf without handcuff and his treatment as a dignitary and not as an accused before the judiciary.
