PESHAWAR: Pakistan’s former railway minister and Awami National Party (ANP) Ghulam Ahmed Bilour has said that the country’s president, Army Chief, chief justice and chief election commissioner will be responsible for any attack on him.
Around 17 ANP workers including some police officials were killed and several others including Bilour were injured in suicide attack on the party’s election campaign in Peshawar, the provincial capital of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, on Tuesday evening.
“ANP leaders and workers are being targeted but we will not afraid from the attacks and escape from the election,” Bilour said during a press conference on Wednesday.
“I want to tell those who want to kill us that I believe in God who saves lives.”
