Peshawar: Two successive blasts ripped through Charsadda Road area of Peshawar, a metropolitan of Pakistan, on Sunday injuring only one policeman.
According to sources, the first blast occurred when a power generator of a private bank blew up.
As the police personnel and media teams reached the spot of the blast, a second blast occurred near the same spot. As a result, a policeman was injured while windows of media vehicle were shattered.
The policeman was rushed to a nearby hospital.
According to bomb disposal squad, explosive materials of 500 grams and 2 kilo gram were used in the blasts and it a terrorist activity.
Police and other law enforcement authorities have started search for the culprits in the nearby areas.
