KARACHI: The nomination papers of Pakistan’s former military ruler Pervez Musharraf have been rejected by from NA-250 Karachi.
Several lawyers, politicians including former Karachi mayor Naimatullah Khan and two military officers had filed objections over the papers of the former president.
The objections stated Musharraf does not meet criteria established in Article 62 and 63 the constitution.
Earlier, General (retd ) Musharraf’s nomination papers were also rejected from Kasur seat on the basis of a complaint filed by invoking Articles 62 and 63 of the Constitution.
