Rawalpindi: Known for his witty and sarcastic comments, Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed has withdrawn nomination papers from a national assembly seat constituency against Imran Khan.
Sheikh has taken his papers from NA-56, an important constituency of Rawalpindi, the garrison city of Pakistan’s Punjab province. He has submitted papers from two constituency including NA-55 and NA-56.
Now he will be contesting from NA-55, where he is hoping to get support from cricketer turned politician Imran, who is heading Pakistan Tehrik-i-Insaf in upcoming elections.
