Islamabad: It seems the parliamentary doors are being closed for former Federal Minister Sheikh Waqas Akram as his A-Level certificate has also been declared fake.
The ex-Minister, who has recently joined the Pakistan Muslim League Nawaz (PMl-N) after quitting the PML-Q, could be disqualified and sent behind the bars over possessing fake degree.
Pakistan’s Higher Education Commission (HEC) had sent the former parliamentarian’s degree to Cambridge University for verification.
According to The News Tribe Urdu, Akram’s A-Level degree has been declared fake by the university.
Moreover, his IBCC certificate has also been not verified.
