Karachi: At least four Rangers personnel were killed and seven others including five personnel were injured in a planted roadside bomb attack in Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
According to Rangers spokesman, the planted device targeted a security van when it was shifting the off-duty personnel to Bhittai Rangers Headquarters in Korangi area of the city.
The bodies and injured have been shifted to Jinnah Hospital in the city. DG Rangers also visited the site of the blast.
Meanwhile, Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) claimed responsibility of the attack and vowed to continue more attacks in response of the targeted operations carried out by the law enforcement authorities in different parts of the city.
