Islamabad: The Election Commission of Pakistan has announced that initial scrutiny of 10,748 nomination papers has been completed, here on Wednesday (today).
It said that some 16,688 papers were have been received from all over the country and the process is underway.
A private news channel said that electoral rolls without photographs have been published, while those including the snaps will be processed from Monday. It also said printing of electoral rolls of Karachi will begin once these are approved by the ECP.
After the completion of the process, these will be sent to the presiding officers who will offer their services during the general elections.
