Peshawar: Unidentified men on Monday attacked a grid station in suburb area of Peshawar, a metropolitan of Pakistan, leaving two people killed in the attack.
According to police, several rockets hit the 500 KV grid station in Buddha Beer area of Peshawar, killing a WAPDA employee and a policeman while four people were trapped inside the station. The station caught fire after the attack.
Several areas around Peshawar had plunged into darkness and people are facing difficulties in their areas.
Fire brigade and other rescue teams have reached to the spot. Police and Bomb Disposal Squad (BDS) have also cordoned-off the area.
