Peshawar: Peshawar High Court (PHC) Chief Justice Dost Muhammad Khan administered oath to seven additional judges of the court here on Tuesday.

Those who took oath as additional judges include Syed Afsar shah, Mr. Lal Jan Khattak, Mr. Ikramullah Khan, Mr. Abid Latif Khan, Mr. Muhammad Daud Khan, Ms. Musarrat Hilali and Malik Manzoor Hussain.
The number of judges in the PHC has been reached to 18 after the appointment of the additional judges.
On March 23, President Asif Ali Zardari on the advice of the prime minister approved the appointment of the seven Additional Judges of the PHC for a period of one year.
