Islamabad: Justice (retd) Hazar Khan Khoso will take oath as caretaker prime minister during a ceremony held at the President House here on Monday (today).
The oath taking ceremony of caretaker prime minister would be held on Monday at 1:00PM in Awan-e-Sadr. President Asif Ali Zardari will administer oath to Hazar Khan Khoso
The Election Commission of Pakistan appointed Khoso on Sunday after the country’s government and opposition and later an eight-member committee failed to select a person for the slot.
Soon after the notification of Khoso’s appointement, the caretaker prime minister was provided with the PM’s protocol.
Hazar Khan Khoso said that he will quit if fails to hold election on time.
He further said that holding fair and transparent elections was his top priority, adding that caretaker cabinet would be small and consist of 10-12 members only
