Islamabad: Justice (retd) Riaz Kayani, one of the four members in the Election Commission of Pakistan who selected the caretaker prime minister on Sunday, disagreed with the majority decision selecting Justice (retd) Mir Hazar Khan Khoso as caretaker PM of the country and wrote a dissenting note.
In the note, Kayani said that Khoso did not show moral courage on several occasion in past, adding that he had obeyed any kind of order of the president during his governorship tenure.
Kayani appreciated Justice (retd) Nasir Aslam Zahid and said that he showed moral courage and did not meet the president when he was a chief justice of the high court.
