Charsadda: An explosive device ripped-off near the residence of Khyber Pakhtunkhua Assembly lawmaker Babar Khan in Charsadda, a district of Pakistan’s KP province but no causalities were reported in the incident.
According to sources, the blast ripped-off outside the house of the MPA in Shabqadar tehsil of Charsadda, causing damages to the gate and outer walls of the house.
“Almost 500 gm of explosive material was used and it seemed that the blast was an attempt to threaten the lawmaker despite causing damage,” they added.
Police and other law enforcement authorities have cordoned off the area and started search for the culprits.
