Karachi: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader Nabil Gabol has decided to join the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM), a report said on Sunday.
The television report said that Gabol would announce his joining Altaf Hussain’s MQM during a press conference in the party Karachi head office, Nine-Zero.
The differences with the PPP’s policies have become a major reason behind his decision of quitting the party.
Moreover, the the report say the MQM give him a ticket to contest election from Azizabad on National Assembly constituency.
Gabol is a prominent politician from Karachi, who served as a Minister in the Federal Cabinet of the country, for the portfolio of Ministry of Ports and Shipping, with his most notable contribution being the formal inauguration of the Gwadar Port in December 2008.
