Rawalpindi: Leader of Muttahida Qaumi Movement Dr. Farooq Sattar said on Wednesday that the Sindh Assembly would be dissolved on March 16 as the consultation over the caretaker setup has been finalised.
Speaking to the media in Rawalpindi on Wednesday, Sattar said that an independent Election Commission of Pakistan is crucial for scrutiny of candidates.
He added seven days are not enough for the scrutiny and the ECP should take at least 15 days for the task.
Sattar said an MQM delegation would meet the ruling party later in the day.
