Peshawar: At least three Pakistani soldiers were killed and two others injured in landmine blast Kurram Agency of the country’s northwestern tribal region, officials said on Monday.
The officials said that the incident occurred in Dogar area of the central Kurram when a military vehicle struck with a landmine. They added that three soldiers died on the spot while another injured.
The injured soldiers has been shifted to nearby hospital.
However, Pakistani Taliban often attack the country’s military, present in the area and conduct operations against militants, but no one has claimed the responsibility of the incident.
The officials said that the forces had also conducted search operation in the area following the blast.
