Islamabad: Pakistan Ministry for Petroleum has rejected the summery to increase the prices of fuel.
According to sources, the ministry has said that the profit of the oil marketing companies and the dealers is not included in the summery. The ministry has asked that authorities to include the profit in the summery.
It is mention here that Pakistan Economic Coordination Committee (ECC) on Tuesday the profit margin of oil marketing companies on petrol to Rs2.33 from Rs0.25 paisa and on diesel to Rs1.86 from Rs0.10.
For dealers, the ECC has increased the profit margin on petrol to Rs2.74 from Rs0.41 and on diesel to Rs0.66 from Rs0.10.
