Peshawar: Tehrik-i-Taliban Pakistan on Saturday named Ihsanullah Ihsan for starting peace talks with Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) Chief Nawaz Sharif, Jamiat Ulema-i-Islam chief of his own faction Maulana Fazlur Rehman and Jamaat-i-Islami chief Munawar Hassan.
Speaking to media outlets from an undisclosed location, the TTP spokesman said that the decision was made in the banned outfit meeting held in the outskirts of Norh Waziristan, a Pakistan area bordering Afghanistan.
The TTP committee had given mandate to Ihsan to hold negotiations and contact the named political leaders at any time.
