Hyderabad: Pakistan’s Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Saturday said that his party and its opponents would appear before the court of public in the forthcoming general elections.
Addressing a ceremony at Government College Hyderabad‚ the prime minister said the whole nation should stand united to confront the challenges of terrorism‚ extremism‚ law and order and the energy crisis.
He appealed the students to reject hatred and promote the message of peace and brotherhood for progress and prosperity of the country.
Ashraf said it is for the first time that a democratic government is completing its five-year term. It is a big achievement for the people of Pakistan.
“We executed an unprecedented number of revolutionary projects in the 65 year history of the country. We devolved powers to the provinces and gave them provincial autonomy”, he said.
