Quetta: Ahle-Sunnat Wal-Jamaat (ASWJ) ended sit-in in Quetta and Karachi on Friday eve after assurance of Balochistan government officials for their cooperation.
Earlier ASWJ staged sit-in protest in different parts of the cities against targeted killings of its clerics and activists.
According to sources the officials held talks with ASWJ leaders and assured them complete cooperation of the government to meet their demands according to law.
The sources further said that after talks with the authorities, ASWJ called their protest off and asked its workers to disperse peacefully.
