Islamabad: Pakistan’s Chief of Army Staff (COAS) General Ashfaq Pervez Kayani and Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf on Tuesday met President Asif Ali Zardari at president house in Islamabad.
According to sources, the trio discussed law and order situation in the country specially the ongoing violence against the Hazara community in Balochistan, a province of Pakistan.
Law Minister Farooq.H.Naek has been summoned in the meeting to discuss constitutional and legal affairs.
Meanwhile, the sources further said that the head of Intelligence Bureau (IB) in Balochistan has been suspended over failure to stop attacks on the Hazara community.
It was the second prominent step from the government in changing security officials over their failure to halt attacks on the depreived Hazara community.
Earlier, the Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf replaced the incumbent Inspector General of Police (IGP) in Balochistan Tariq Umar Khattab with Mushtaq Sukhera.
