Islamabad: Chief Justice of Pakistan Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry on Monday took suo moto notice of the brutal rape and killing of an 11-year old girl in Islamabad, a capital of Pakistan.
The chief justice has summoned Inspector General (IG) Islamabad on February 19 to file a complete report on the killing of the girl.
It is to be mentioned here that an 11-year-old girl named Shehzadi was abducted from Bhara Kahu area of the city and his body was on Sunday found from a pipeline in I-9-1 area of Islamabad.
After the autopsy report of the slain girl, it was revealed that she was subjected to brutal rape from her abductors.
The relatives of Shehzadi later staged a sit in on Jinnah Avenue and demanded government to take strict action against the rapists.
