Peshawar: The Chief Justice of Peshawar High Court Dost Mohammad Khan on Monday said that the court would not allow Khyber Pakhtunkhua (KPK) to become Balochistan, a province of Pakistan badly hit by the insurgency from militants and Baloch separatists.
Dost Mohammad said that he had told the provincial government to take suitable measures to safeguard the interests of the people in the province.
“Those officers who have failed to safeguard people have no right to remain at their positions,” he added.
He further added that a month deadline was given to the provincial government and security officials to arrest all miscreants who were spreading anarchy in the province.
