Memogate case: SC summons interior secretary immediately

Islamabad: The Supreme Court of Pakistan on Tuesday while hearing the memogate case expressed anger over the absence of the secretary of interior and ordered him to appear before the bench at 11:30am today.

An eight-member apex court bench headed by Chief Justice Iftikhar Mohammad Chaudhry resumed the hearing of the case.

On previous hearing of the case, the bench had directed the secretary to appear before the bench on January 12.

During the hearing today, the bench expressed anger over the secretary’s absence and ordered him to appear before the court at 11:30am.
