Islamabad: Pakistan has expressed deep reservations over the execution of Afzal Guru and said that Indian acts are against the willing and rights of Kashmiri people.
During a media briefing on Monday, Pakistan’s foreign office spokesman Moazzam Khan said that the country strongly condemned the imposition of curfew and arrest of Kashmiri leader after the execution of Guru.
India should release the detained Hurriyat leaders, the spokesman demanded.
He said that the human rights organisation had said a lot on Afzal Guru’s hanging, adding that India’s behaviour with Kashmiri people could not be justified.
