Peshawar: Pakistan’s provincial government of Khyber Pakhtunkhua has announced to commence anti-polio drive in the five districts of the province from February 18, 2013 amid concerns after a polio case was reported in Bannu district.
According to health department, the anti-polio campaign would be run in the Bannu, Lakki Marwat, Karak, Hangu and Dera Ismail Khan Districts of the province.
At least 1.6 million children would be vaccinated during the campaign in the areas.
