Peshawar: Pakistan’s security forces shelled militants’ hideouts in Orakzai Agency in the country’s northwest region on Thursday, killing at least 15 and injuring several others.
Sources said forces targeted militant hideouts in Kalam Khel, Arghanju and Lundo Qamar areas of the agency.
Pakistan’s security forces have been fighting against the insurgency led by the Tehrik-e-Taliban Pakistan since 2009.
The militia has waged a deadly campaign against the forces and proved resilient against the military offensive as it continues to launch attacks against the forces and civilian targets across the country.
