Lahore: Pakistan Awami Tehreek (PAT) chairman Tahirul Qadri said that the aims of his party and the Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) are quite similar and both parties believed in the democracy.
Qadri was talking to a joint conference of PTI and PAT after a meeting with the leaders of the Imran Khan’s party.
Leaders of both parties expressed conference in each other and agreed that democracy and free and fair elections are the only ways forward.
The PTI delegation comprised its Central President Makhdoom Javed Hashmi, Vice Chairman Makhdoom Shah Mahmood Qureshi and others.
Hashmi said each and every thing including electoral alliance was discussed, adding that there was no chance of negotiations with the coalition political parties.
Qadri said he would file an appeal in the Supreme Court tomorrow (Thursday) for the dissolution of the Election Commission.
