Karachi: At least two people were injured in multiple grenade attacks outside Pakistan Air Force Base on Shahra-e-Faisal area of Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan.
According to sources some unknown attackers hurled at least five grenades at the Faisal Flyover gate of the PAF base and fled away.
Heavy contingents of law enforcement agencies arrived at the scene to evaluate the damage. Bomb defusers also jumped into action at the attack site as there was a possibility that more explosive devices could be planted in the area.
Meanwhile, Rangers, police, and PAF personnel have cordoned off the area and started search operation in the surrounding areas.
