Islamabad: The Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz has canceled its sit-in outside the Election Commission’s office in Islamabad, and said it would only march till the formation of the omission.
The decision was taken at a PML-N parliamentary meeting, chaired by Leader of the Opposition in the National Assembly Chaudhry Nisar Ali Khan.
The meeting was also attended by the Jamaat-e-Islami, the Pakistan Muslim League-Functional (PML-F), the Jamiat-Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F), Sunni Tehreek, National People’s Party, Sindh United Party, Awami Tehreek Sindh and Jamhoori Watan Party.
All the participants said they are satisfied with the ECP. They also issued a declaration outlining their demands, including the implementation of the Supreme Court’s order about verification of voters’ list in Karachi.
