Washington: At least one woman was killed and three other people wounded in a drive-by shooting in a Phoenix neighborhood, a city of United States Arizona state.
According to police, a dark green vehicle with four men inside pulled up to the home around 2:30 p.m. and someone fired multiple rounds at the four victims outside.
Phoenix police spokesman Sgt. Steve Martos said that a woman in her 60s and another in her 20s were transported from the scene in critical condition, out of which one of them later died on her way to the hospital.
Another woman and a man in his 20s suffered non-life threatening injuries in the shooting, he added. Victims’ names have noy yet been released by the authorities.
The police officers were assisting Phoenix police in the search for the shooter. At the scene, police marked at least 20 bullet shell casings with white evidence markers in front of the home and on the roadway.
