Cuttack: After restricting Australia to 175, Pakistan women failed to resist against the Aussie bowling attack and lost their opening match of the ICC Women World Cup by 91 runs here on Friday.
Pakistan were bowled out for just 83 runs in 33.2 overs at Cuttack in India. Bismah Maroof was the only Pakistani batter to offer some resistance with 43 runs. No other Pakistani player could stay with Maroof.
Australia’s Sarah Coyte grabbed three wickets while Ellysee Perry, Lisa Sthalekar and Holly Ferling took two wickets each.
