London: Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) chief Altaf Hussain has said that his party respects the rights of the Hazara people, and it would continue to raise its voice for their rights according to their wishes and aspirations.
In a statement issued on Sunday from London Secretariat, the leader of Tehreek-i-Sooba Hazara, Baba Haider Zaman telephoned Hussain and informed him about the growing restiveness in the Hazara community because of no practical progress on their demand for the creation of Hazara province.
He asked Altaf Hussain to raise the issue of the Hazara province and told him that the hopes of the people of Hazara rested on him.
The MQM chief told Baba Haider Zaman that his party supported the rights of the Hazara people and their demand for a separate province.
