With wireless charging, larger battery and many more feature to attract smartphone users, Samsung Galaxy S4 reportedly is all set to launch after 70 days, somewhere in April.
Manzar Elahi, technology editor of the largest independent and bilingual news website TheNewsTribe, said that South-Korean technology giant Samsung Electronics didn’t disclose anything to media on the topic in “Yas or No”.
According to Samsung news website SamMobile, company’s new smartphone family member will be arriving on April 15.
The Galaxy S series of Samsung has emerged as a key competitor to Apple’s iPhone in US, Europe, Middle East and Asian Market with other parts of the world.
As an expert in telecom sector, Manzar Elahi said that “there is no doubt that initially Samsung’s Galaxy S phone faced a slow start, but after the Galaxy S3, Korean giant has held up remarkably well even as other competitive phones have faded.”
Early reports about most awaited new smartphone claim that the gadget will be in hands with more flexible display.
“As part of Samsung’s CES keynote, Brian Berkeley from the Samsung San Jose Display Lab made an appearance to show off the OLED flexible displays. They are being branded YOUM, and have the potential to make a major impact on smartphone and tablet design going forward.”
The new Galaxy series hand set will also reportedly feature a larger 2,600 mAh battery as compared to Galaxy S3’s 2,100 mAh battery.
With a launch date in April, SamMobile said Samsung could hold its own event in March as Galaxy S3 was unveiled at the company event in May 2012, or possibly unveil the smartphone at Mobile World Congress, which begins in late February.
Roger Cheng predicted in his report about the topic at CNET that “even if the April 15 launch date holds true, that doesn’t necessarily mean the Galaxy S4 will make its way to the U.S. at that time. As with the Galaxy S III, the phone may launch at different times depending on when the U.S. carriers want to release the phone, which could vary from days to weeks.”
