Karachi: Pakistan’s Chief Election Commissioner (CEC) Fakhruddin G Ibrahim has said that delimitation of constituencies in Karachi will not be carried out as it is a quite difficult process.
Talking to media in Karachi on Tuesday, Ibrahim said that there would be no future of Pakistan if free and fair election not held. “It is my mission to hold free and fair election in the country.”
He said that there was no law and order problem in any part of the country, adding that they had an army’s assistance but there was no need of it during voters’ lists verification process.
To a query regarding his resignation rumours, he said that he was not going anywhere, it was his wish to complete the mission.
