Raiwind: Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) leader and Member of National Assembly Nabil Gabol met Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N) President Nawaz Sharif here in Raiwind on Friday and condoled the death of his (Nawaz) brother Abbas Sharif.
While taking to media after the meeting, Gabol said that every party except the PPP gave respect to him.
Replying to a query regarding rumors that he is leaving the PPP, he said that he would not leave the PPP until the party itself expels him. “I am still a member of the PPP.”
Gabol, who has differences with the top leaders of his party, had met Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Imran Khan earlier. It is being rumored that Gabol is mulling over to leave the PPP.
“I will reveal the name of my party when I will submit the nomination papers for the general election,” he told reporters to a query.
Gabol, who was elected as MNA from Lyari area of Karachi city in 2008 polls, said that a complete operation against the criminals was necessary to hold free and fair election.
“Every political party in Karachi including the Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) is worried over the current law and order situation of the city.”
