Lahore: Patients in Pakistan’s Punjab province continued to suffer as the protest of young doctors entered second day on Thursday.
The Out Patients Departments (OPDs) in all the public hospitals are closed while senior and contract doctors are providing treatment to the patients in medical camps.
The provincial government has tightened the security in the hospitals to deal with in untoward incident.
Despite losing the public sympathy due to strikes, it has become a regular practice of young doctors in Punjab to close all the OPDs to force the government for their demands.
