Quetta: Funeral prayers of the victims of a string of suicide blasts at Alamdar road will be offered today, sources said.
More than 115 people including nine police personnel and three local reporters died in the fatal incident.
Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) Quaidabad Mujahid Hussain, SHO Jaafar Ali, Sama TV’s cameraman Imran Shaikh and several rescue workers were among those victims.
Balochistan government announced three-day mourning over the killings and compensation for the heirs of blast victims, the sources added.
The sources further said that Rs2 million each would be provided to the heirs of deceased police officers and personnel while Rs1 million each would be provided to the relatives of other victims of the incident.
Rs1 million each were also announced for the three journalists who lost their lives in the incident.
