Karachi: The Home Ministry of Pakistan’s Sindh province has announced to lift ban on pillion riding and carrying arms in Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, here on Thursday.
Ina handout issued on Thursday, the home ministry announced to lift ban on pillion riding and carrying arms in the city, which was enforced on December 31, 2012 amid security threats on New Year eve and Chehlum of Hazrat Imam Hussain on January 3, 2013.
Meanwhile, sources revealed that the the provincial government has banned issuance of new arms licenses across the province and all Deputy Commissioners were informed regarding the orders.
