The Supreme Court of Pakistan has ordered the relevant authorities to give permanent job status to the Lady Health Workers rendering services against the deadly diseases of polio and measles in Sindh, Pakistan.
It may be noted here that about 400 LHWs, demanding better service structure, had yesterday refused to work in the campaign against the deadly measles disease that has broke havoc in the interior Sindh.
They had also protested outside the Prime Minister’s Secretariat about two weeks ago against the payment terms and delay in the arrest of killers of polio workers.
