Lahore: Though the authorities had announced resumption of operation of CNG stations, people of Lahore continue to face the misery on the pretext of gas load-management plan.
The perfect example of this is closure of several stations in Gujranwala where ‘most CNG stations’ are openly defying government directions to resume operation today (Sunday).
Moreover, it was informed that that the twin cities, Islamabad and Rawalpindi, will be provided the utility only a day in a week.
The shortage of gas is bound to escalate the problem, especially during the working day tomorrow (Monday). In this scenario, it seems that the authorities are implementing their plan of gradually eliminating CNG stations in the country.
Meanwhile, gas supply to Multan, falling into Region 2, has been restored, while the utility is also being provided in Karachi on Sunday.
