Karachi: Mobile phone services have been resumed in Karachi, a metropolitan of Pakistan, after the suspension of almost seven hours.
The services were suspended in the city to avert any act of terrorism on final Friday of the year.
Wireless service of the Pakistan Telecom Company Limited (PTCL) were also closed.
The PTA did not gave any the reason behind the shutting of the cellular service.
Sources said that the cellular service providers had suspended their service after receiving orders from Pakistan Telecommunication Authority (PTA).
