Islamabad: Pakistan’s Foreign Office on Thursday said that India will soon be granted the Most Favourite Nation (MFN) status.
Giving a weekly press briefing at Foreign Office, the spokesman Moazzam Khan said that Pakistan was resolving its issues with India through constant periods of talks.
“War against terrorism is our first priority,” he said adding that the country was against arms race in the region.
Khan said that Pakistan was cooperating in the stability of Afghanistan adding that the relationship with United States was also moving in a positive direction.
“Taliban have not asked to open a political office in Pakistan,” he added.
He further said that Foreign Minister Hina Rabbani would visit Saudi Arabia from January 1, 2013 on the invitation of her Saudi counterpart Prince Saud Al-Faisal bin Abdulaziz Al Saud.
