London: Sony will launch its Xperia Yuga C660X with quad-core Cortex-A15 processor Exynos 5 SoC made by Samsung, latest rumours say.
If this is true, then next year, Sony will split Qualcomm after a long time using the company’s SoC and switching to products manufactured by Samsung. In addition, the machine owns OLED 5, 1080p, 3GB RAM and 16MP camera. With a configuration like this, the Xperia will be able to compete better with rivals such as Samsung’s Galaxy Note and S generation and Taiwan’s HTC Butterfly.
According to the rumours, the mysterious smartphone will be equipped with up to 128GB of internal memory, a figure traditionally rare in the smartphone market, with it batteries about 3,000mAh, the resistance to water, dust as well as infrared.
However, rumours have many questions as Sony has never used its OLED screens for the smartphones.
Large internal memory of 128GB also not appeared much. Maybe we will get more information about this phone model on the CES show in early January or MWC to March.
However, it has the ability we have to wait longer because Sony is expected to introduce Xperia Yuga or Odin, then to the machine.
