Islamabad: Chairman National Accountability Bureau Admiral (retd) Fasih Bokhari said Punjab government was responsible for 65 per cent corruption in Pakistan and requested Federal Law Minister Farooq H. Naek for an early Cabinet meeting.
A NAB spokesman said Bokhari, in a telephonic conversation with Naek, requested for an early meeting of the committee for elimination of corruption from the country.
Bokhari demanded that representative of Punjab government be asked to attend the meeting as the province represents Pakistan’s majority and shares 65 per cent of responsibility.
