Gujranwala: Chairman Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf, Imran Khan has said that corrupt people had become leaders in the past, but nation has decided to get rid of them now.
He was addressing a gathering in Gujranwala on Saturday.
Imran said that if people don’t raise their voice on injustices, they will have to suffer the consequences. He said that nation and corrupt leaders have parted their ways.
The PTI chief said that political parties in Karachi have armed wings under their lead, saying people should not vote them. He said they support unbiased election in the country.
He said that PTI will end the trend of appointments in government offices on political basis. He accused PMLN of inviting Sheikh Rasheed to join them to ‘break PTI mandate’. “They might now contact Chaudhry Shujaat for the same purpose”, he added.
Imran called current political parties ‘limited companies’. He made it clear that his party will not come in alliance with the ruling parties in the forthcoming election.
